Q: What are our benefits to emerge as one of the top finalists in GCA?
A: Top finalists in GCA will enjoy recognition as “Best Employers in Malaysia” or “Top Employers in Malaysia”, on the media coverages such as The Star, The Edge, Bernama, Berita Harian, NST, and many others. Try googling for us on Google and you will find us ranked high.
Q: How much is the nomination fee to get nominated into GCA?
A: It is free of charge
Q: How much is the investment (cost) to win a GCA title?
A: It is free of charge with the condition that your organization must be voted with a majority vote against other nominees.
Q: How do I nominate my company and what are the criteria?
A: You may nominate your company by arranging for an appointment with us. Thereafter we will review your company’s eligibility.
Q: We have not heard of GCA, is this new?
A: GCA is started by Talentbank in 2018. Talentbank was being established in 2011.
Q: Who are the past winners for GCA?
A: Kindly refer to the GCA website, the past winners were shown accordingly by categories.
Q: Who are the Judges?
A: There are no judges. Winners for the GCA will be determined solely by votes cast by Undergraduate students of an institution of higher learning, or, Fresh Graduate that graduated from an institution of higher learning within the last 12 months.
Q: Who are the Voters?
A: To be eligible as a respondent of the Graduates’ Choice Award, voters must be either: (1) an Undergraduate student of an institution of higher learning, or, (2) a Fresh Graduate that graduated from an institution of higher learning within the last 12 months.
Q: Can employees vote for their company?
A: Yes, provided that the vote cast is by an employee who is an: (1) Undergraduate student of an institution of higher learning, or (2) has just recently graduated from an institution of higher learning within the last 12 months.
Suspicious vote activity and questionable votes will be flagged and raised by the GCA tech team to the appointed GCA Board Members who will then verify its legitimacy.
Illegitimate votes will be removed.
Q: How are the votes collected?
A: Undergraduates across the nation can cast votes for their favorite graduate employer brands through forms online, or through physical means (during our career fairs)

Q: How legitimate are the results?
A: GCA is organized by Talentbank, award-winning recruitment & employer branding specialist. Prior to the announcement of the top finalists, our voting results will be shared with a panel of invited board of audit members. Results will be officially announced once it’s acknowledged by the board of audit members.
Q: What is the Award Structure?
A: There will be multiple contesting categories in the Graduates’ Choice Award. Once the voting period is concluded, the respective rankings and winners for each category will be officially announced at the GCA Awards Presentation Gala.
Q: What can we do with this recognition?
A: One benefit of the GCA is that it serves as a benchmark and guideline of irrefutable distinction and quality for future graduates when they begin searching for organizations to apply to as they embark for their job-search process.
Like the world-renowned ‘Michelin Star’ that tells hungry customers which dining establishment has world-class food, the GCA tells graduates which organizations and employers are the best. In short, the GCA is a ‘Seal of Excellence’, which gives solid assurance to graduates that an organization is not only of great distinction, but one of the absolute most wanted organizations to work at.
Q: Why some of the results are blank?
The results are completely based on what the students have voted for, we do not manipulate and we do not publish the results without written consent from the organizations.
Q: Can we pay for a sponsorship fee to win a title?
We do not accept “Pay to Win” or “Buy a Table to Win”. Your organization has to be completely voted in order to emerge as Top 5.
